Actorly is an Irish casting platform. It connects actors with casting directors, agents and, for young actors aged 16 or under, their guardians. Actors build a profile, casting directors post castings and search for talent, and self-tapes move through the site with TapeDrop.

Joining is free, applying to castings is free, and being found by casting directors is free. Casting directors and agents never pay anything at all. The one paid part is TapeDrop, our self-tape service, and it only ever comes up once a casting director has actually asked to see your tape. There’s a fuller explanation on The Actorly Model page.

Actorly is built for the Irish industry, and the castings on Actorly are for productions in Ireland. Actors living abroad can still join and list Ireland as one of their bases.

Sign up, then upload your CV and Actorly helps turn it into a profile. Add your headshots, your showreel link and a voice reel, and once your profile has been approved, you’re ready to start applying.

TapeDrop is how self-tapes travel on Actorly. When a casting director asks you to tape, you record at home and upload through TapeDrop, and it lands straight on their dashboard. It’s a separate service with a small fee per tape, explained in full on The Actorly Model page.

Not at all. Actors represent themselves on Actorly all the time. If you do have an agent, they can be listed on your profile, and if your agency is registered with Actorly, casting directors contact them, not you, about paid work.

Join Actorly, the Irish casting platform, for free and build your profile. Once it’s approved, you can browse the castings Irish casting directors post on Actorly and apply in a couple of clicks. We also email you when a new casting matches your profile.

Yes. Self-represented actors can apply to every casting on Actorly, and casting directors see your profile just like anyone else’s.

Choose “Casting director” when you join and tell us a little about your work. We approve casting director accounts by hand so that everyone on the platform is genuine, then you’re free to post castings, search actors and request self-tapes.

Nothing. Posting castings, searching for actors and requesting self-tapes are all completely free for casting directors, with no fees of any kind. There’s more on how Actorly runs on The Actorly Model page.

On Actorly, casting directors post a casting for free and receive applications from actors who match the role. They can also search every actor on Actorly by playing age, gender, accents, languages, where they’re based and more, then message them or request a self-tape. Their breakdown also goes out to the Irish agencies they select on the site. See the For Casting page.

Actors aged 16 or under join through a parent or guardian account, never on their own. From 17, actors hold their own account. You create the account, add a profile for each of your young actors, and you stay in control of it. There’s more on the For Guardians page.

Yes. One guardian account holds all of your young actors together in a single place.

Actorly lists castings for children and teenagers posted by Irish casting directors. Young actors aged 16 or under join Actorly free through a parent or guardian account: you create the account, add your child’s profile, apply to castings for them and handle every message. Register your agency to receive casting breakdowns by email, exactly the way you always have. Once you’re registered, casting directors can’t contact your clients on Actorly directly about paid work. Every avail check, self-tape request and message comes to you instead, and you just hit reply to answer. The For Agents page has the full picture.
