Tape in Contacted Contacted Tape inHow it works
Everything in one place.
Post a casting
Fill in your casting info, roles, dates and the fee. Select which actors you would like your casting visible to. Once you click send, those actors will be notified, and can log in and apply for suitable roles.
Reach the agencies
Besides actors, you can choose which of Ireland’s agencies you’d like to receive suggestions from. Click send, and the breakdown lands in their inbox. You can choose to receive suggestions either by email, or direct to your dashboard beside everyone else. See the workflow for agents here.
Reach actors directly
Filter actors by playing age, look, skills, accents, languages, and more. Open any profile to check out their full portfolio.
Interaction history
When viewing an actor’s profile, you can see whether they have previously applied to your castings, and what you have already invited them to. You can also see the suitability rating you previously gave them, along with the self-tape ratings, and any private note you left, visible only to you.
Tracking invites
Message an actor, invite them to apply, or invite them to tape, all from their profile. Every invite is tracked in the Invited tab: who you asked, whether they opened the casting, whether they replied, and whether the tape is in, on one timeline.
Filtering and batch messaging applicants
Applications and agent suggestions arrive together on your casting dashboard, and you can filter everyone by any combination: those you have given a 5-star suitability rating to, those suggested by an agent, those you are still waiting on a tape from. Batch message your filtered group, and the message goes to each actor and agent individually. When you have seen everyone you need for a role, mark it as cast and continue with the other roles.
Self-tapes through TapeDrop™
Invite the actors you want to see tape, one at a time or as a filtered group. Each actor receives their own link, and their tapes come back to your dashboard beside their individual applications, whoever they are: members, and agency clients on or off Actorly, with no account needed to upload. Watch them side by side, rate one to five, filter by rating, batch-message, forward and download.
A vetted membership
Every actor profile is checked before it goes live, so the pool is full of trained, professional actors. Young actors aged 16 and under are managed by a guardian, so you never contact a child directly. And membership is completely free for actors, so your casting is in front of every actor on the platform, and the whole pool is yours to cast from.
